چکیده
The soil and climate conditions in Romanian Northeastern area are favorable for cherry cultivation, but some times can occurred calamities. paper presents a study which during 2020 at the Research Station Fruit Growing (N-E of Romania), using five sweet genotypes as research material: ‘Van’, ‘Croma’, ‘Elaiași’, ‘HC920402’, ‘HC930208’. Observations determinations were performed regards to frostdamages, main growing phenological stages physical chemical traits fruit. evaluated beginning flowering fruit ripening (expressed degree-days, GDD). For these cultivars, highest values concerning fruit’s weight have been recorded ‘Elaiași’ (9.15 g) ‘HC920402’ (7.7 g), while equatorial diameter ranged between 23.21 mm 25.16 mm. content soluble dry solids (SDS) was 14.6 20.2 °Brix. proposed objective aims introducing assortment new varieties with quality fruits their resistance cracking, time extremities season.

Evaluation of multiple approaches to identify genome-wide polymorphisms in closely related genotypes of sweet cherry (Prunus avium L.)
Identification of genetic polymorphisms and subsequent development of molecular markers is important for marker assisted breeding of superior cultivars of economically important species. Sweet cherry (Prunus avium L.) is an economically important non-climacteric tree fruit crop in the Rosaceae family and has undergone a genetic bottleneck due to breeding, resulting in limited genetic diversity ...
متن کاملAscorbic acid metabolism during sweet cherry (Prunus avium) fruit development
To elucidate metabolism of ascorbic acid (AsA) in sweet cherry fruit (Prunus avium 'Hongdeng'), we quantified AsA concentration, cloned sequences involved in AsA metabolism and investigated their mRNA expression levels, and determined the activity levels of selected enzymes during fruit development and maturation. We found that AsA concentration was highest at the petal-fall period (0 days afte...
متن کاملPaCYP78A9, a Cytochrome P450, Regulates Fruit Size in Sweet Cherry (Prunus avium L.)
Sweet cherry (Prunus avium L.) is an important fruit crop in which fruit size is strongly associated with commercial value; few genes associated with fruit size have, however, been identified in sweet cherry. Members of the CYP78A subfamily, a group of important cytochrome P450s, have been found to be involved in controlling seed size and development in Arabidopsis thaliana, rice, soybean, and ...
متن کاملPhosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase in cherry (Prunus avium L.) fruit during development.
In this study the abundance and location of phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase (PEPCK) was determined in the flesh and skin of the sweet cherry (Prunus avium L.) cultivar Durone Nero II during development. PEPCK was not present in young fruit but appeared in both tissues as the fruit increased in size. In these there was no net dissimilation of malic acid, which accounts for the bulk of their or...
متن کاملMapping of Candidate Genes Involved in Bud Dormancy and Flowering Time in Sweet Cherry (Prunus avium)
The timing of flowering in perennial plants is crucial for their survival in temperate climates and is regulated by the duration of bud dormancy. Bud dormancy release and bud break depend on the perception of cumulative chilling during endodormancy and heat during the bud development. The objectives of this work were to identify candidate genes involved in dormancy and flowering processes in sw...
